Competitions

We may be directly or indirectly involved in various competitions that assess special talents of outstanding students. If a competition is prestigious enough and can be held in Korea, we will actively promote it and find ways for students to participate in it in Korea. These new and creative ‘challenges’ stimulate students’ intellectual curiosities and make them want to participate in them.

Regardless of the test results or their direct impact on high school or college entrance, we strongly believe that such efforts made by students bring greater results in the future. For students and parents convenience, there are some separate websites for certain competitions.

Our principles in organizing tests are as following:

* The test fee : The test fee is set based on operating expenses including renting test sites.
* Principle in running the test sites : We only use convention centers, schools and churches for the tests. No test is held in private institutions.
* Organization of the tests : All the tests organized by the K.G.S.E.A. are held in separate test sites and supervised by trained proctors. When the number of participants reaches a certain level for each competition, separate websites will be created for students and parents’ convenience.
